elementor-size-default\">De endoscopie : een revolutie<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7810cc8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7810cc8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>Sinds 50 jaar<\/strong> is de <strong>flexibele endoscopie een revolutie<\/strong> geweest i<strong>n de diagnose en de behandeling van de digestieve pathologie\u00ebn, de gal en de alvleesklie<\/strong>r: de opkomst van de video-endoscopie, en daarna van de high-tech endoscopie en uiteindelijk van de echo-endoscopie maakt het mogelijk om, op een steeds verfijnde manier, de structuur van de wanden te visualiseren, de stadia van tumorale infiltratie te bepalen en de aangrenzende organen te onderzoeken.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Dit heeft natuurlijk tot aanzienlijke vooruitgangen geleid op het vlak van behandeling, en onder meer op het vlak van\u00a0 controle van de spijsverteringsbloedingen, plaatsing van protheses in geval van vernauwing, het weghalen van galstenen, de behandeling van chirurgische complicaties of van abdominale ophopingen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>Recentelijk hebben deze therapeutische competenties zich uitgebreid tot de verwijdering van oppervlakkige tumoren, de behandeling van de obesitas of van functionele digestieve pathologie\u00ebn<\/strong>. Het maakt het mogelijk om, bijvoorbeeld, echte hechtingen te doen en organen te manipuleren door ze op te heffen of ze te plaatsen.<\/p><p>Gezien het succes van de klinische testen, werd een eerste spin-off van de Universiteit, <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.endotools.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Endotools Therapeutics<\/u><\/a><i>,<\/i><\/b> opgericht: ze commercialiseert een vereenvoudigde versie van deze apparatuur waarmee via de natuurlijke weg en door hechtingen het maagvolume kan verminderd worden voor de behandeling van de morbide obesitas.<\/p><p>Vanuit het standpunt van het onderzoek, heeft het triangulatiesysteem twee belangrijke vragen doen rijzen op het gebied van de therapeutische endoscopie :<\/p><ul><li>Het gebrek aan <strong>dieptemeting<\/strong> bij het visualiseren van het spijsverteringskanaal<\/li><li>Het gebrek aan <strong>krachtmeting<\/strong> bij het manipuleren van de weefsels<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element de dienst Electromagnetisme en Telecommunicatie van de Faculteit Ingenieurswetenschappen van Bergen, een verkleinde krachtsensor worden ontwikkeld die bedoeld is om aan het distale einde van de apparatuur te worden geplaatst.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Dankzij deze apparatuur kan men bijvoorbeeld de nauwkeurige injectie van therapeutische stoffen in de gewenste zone verwezenlijken of de \u2018\u2019palpatie\u2019\u2019 in werkelijkheid verhoogd door bepaalde letsels, om op die manier ze beter te kunnen
