du&nbsp;tube digestif,<\/strong>&nbsp;des voies biliaires et du pancr\u00e9as<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>: l\u2019apparition de la vid\u00e9o-endoscopie puis de l\u2019endoscopie haute d\u00e9finition et enfin de l\u2019\u00e9cho-endoscopie permet de visualiser de mani\u00e8re toujours plus fine la structure des parois, de d\u00e9finir les stades d\u2019infiltration tumorale et d\u2019examiner les organes adjacents.<\/p>\n<p>Ceci a naturellement conduit \u00e0&nbsp;des progr\u00e8s consid\u00e9rables<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>en termes de traitement et notamment<strong>&nbsp;dans le contr\u00f4le des h\u00e9morragies digestives, le placement de proth\u00e8ses en cas de st\u00e9noses, l\u2019extraction de calculs biliaires<\/strong>, le traitement de complications chirurgicales ou de collections abdominales.<\/p>\n<p>Plus r\u00e9cemment, ces capacit\u00e9s th\u00e9rapeutiques se sont \u00e9tendues&nbsp;<strong>\u00e0 la r\u00e9section de tumeurs superficielles,&nbsp;<\/strong>au traitement de<strong>&nbsp;l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 ou de pathologies&nbsp;<\/strong>fonctionnelles<strong>&nbsp;du tube digestif.<\/strong><\/p><p>Il est m\u00eame apparu r\u00e9cemment que l\u2019endoscopie pourrait dans le futur jouer un r\u00f4le majeur dans le&nbsp;<strong>traitement du diab\u00e8te&nbsp;<\/strong>ou dans certaines<strong>&nbsp;pathologies du foie&nbsp;<\/strong>menant \u00e0 la cirrhose<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section ISSUE DE LA COLLABORATION M\u00c9DECINS-ING\u00c9NIEURS POUR TRAITER LES PATIENTS PAR LES VOIES NATURELLES<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element mains<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb au sein du tube digestif bien que les endoscopes traditionnels ne poss\u00e8dent qu\u2019un seul canal de travail orient\u00e9 dans l\u2019axe de vision, ce qui rend le m\u00e9decin op\u00e9rateur en quelque sorte \u00ab manchot \u00bb.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Ce syst\u00e8me de triangulation a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9 CE en 2011 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9 cliniquement. Il permet, par exemple\u00a0; de r\u00e9aliser de vraies sutures et de manipuler des organes en les soulevant ou les apposant.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Vu le succ\u00e8s des essais cliniques, une premi\u00e8re spin-off de l\u2019Universit\u00e9,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.endotools.be\/\">Endotools Therapeutics<\/a>, a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e\u00a0: elle commercialise une version simplifi\u00e9e de ce dispositif qui permet de r\u00e9duire par voie naturelle et par sutures le volume de l\u2019estomac en vue du traitement de l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 morbide.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Du point de vue de la recherche, le syst\u00e8me de triangulation a permis d\u2019identifier\u00a0<strong>deux questions importantes<\/strong>\u00a0en endoscopie th\u00e9rapeutique\u00a0:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Le manque de\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">mesure de la profondeur\u00a0<\/span>lors de la visualisation du tube digestif<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Le manque de\u00a0<strong>mesure de force<\/strong>\u00a0lors de la manipulation des nouveaux projets : Endoruler et Sensendo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bed3a9c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bed3a9c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Le but<\/strong> du projet&nbsp;EndoRuler&nbsp;est de <strong>r\u00e9aliser un syst\u00e8me de mesure de distance in-vivo<\/strong>. Il permet de mesurer les&nbsp;dimensions de polypes, de cavit\u00e9s avant la&nbsp;pose&nbsp;&nbsp;de proth\u00e8ses, l\u2019\u00e9volution de traitements de tumeurs b\u00e9nignes ou malignes \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Vu les r\u00e9sultats tr\u00e8s prometteurs obtenus dans les mesures in-vivo, une deuxi\u00e8me spin-off, Lys Medical a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Lys Medical, active dans le d\u00e9veloppement&nbsp;d\u2019outils endoscopiques dispose&nbsp;maintenant d&rsquo;une salle blanche ISO7 certifi\u00e9e. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce nouvel espace, cette spin-off peut garantir l\u2019environnement de fabrication et ainsi p\u00e9renniser la production locale de ses dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux.<br>Lys Medical est en passe d\u2019obtenir le marquage CE de son premier dispositif m\u00e9dical \u00ab\u00a0Iriscope\u00a0\u00bb, un endoscope miniature qui permet de visualiser des zones inexplor\u00e9es jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent par exemple dans les cavit\u00e9s
