Prof. Antoine Nonclerc, President of the sector, reported on the evolution of the last born : with 50% growth over the last 4 years, the biomedical sector reaches almost parity by having a female representation of 40% of engineers. Two presentations then illustrated the spirit of collaboration that led to the creation of this sector : Prof. Alain Delchambre recalled the genesis of this training whose multidisciplinary research collaborations were one of the incentives to train biomedical engineers.
